May 30 - 31, 2013 - Wolf Point, Montana to Cody, Woming

The trip fom Wolf Point to Billings, Montana was UGLY!  Rain and wind the whole way.  And to top it off, once we settled in to our new home in the Billings Walmart parking lot, I was running to the truck and fell right down on the pavement.  I didn't trip; I just fell down.  This disturbed me quite a bit.  Is this what happens when you should start acting your age??  Anyway, that was the highlight of the day.  Oh yeah, we also got a thank you card for our new freind from Bengough along with some printed pictures from Walmart (of course) and mailed them to him.
Our first wildlife sighting

This kind of says it all

Next morning we get up to the wind still blowing.  It never stopped all night.  So Ricky needs to go into Walmart (of course) to buy some milk.  He brings everthing else back with him, except the milk, so I hobble over for the milk.  I'm really crippled up from my fall!

The weather improves quite a bit on our drive to Cody.  It is quite beautiful driving throught the Bridger and Belfry area.
looks like this was carved by a human but it wasn't

Beautiful drive through the valley

We arrive in Cody in time for lunch at Irma's Hotel built by William Cody and named after his youngest daughter Irma.  We didn't do much after that except relax and have an early night after setting up at the Ponderosa RV Park; full hookups including wifi for $42.00/night.
