The weather has been pretty dull these last few days but at least it has been dry and of course that prairie wind never stops. Shannon is up bright and early for her run. I believe she got in about 8 km today.
We head over to the Steiningers for a little visit and then we all head over to the show and shine that is in town this weekend. I am amazed at how many beautifully restored cars fill their skating rink. A lot of them come from Grenfell itself. Adele and Elmer's son Kim has a car in the show.

We would have liked to have gone to their museum but it's closed on the weekend so we settle for a stroll around town. It's a nice little town of about 1000 people.

We arrive at the anniversary party around 6:00 to find it teaming with friends and relatives alike. All 4 of their children are there

as well as their 10 grandchildren. It's such a heartwarming sight to see the whole family gathered to celebrate together. After much food and visiting we head back to our trailer leaving Shannon behind to catch up with her cousins.
