June 7, 2013 - on to east Wyoming

We pulled out of our camping spot around 9:00 AM after a walk down to the lake.  Richard struck up a conversation with a fisherman who actually invited him to go with him and he was so tempted.  But no, away we went.
They had a beautiful fish cleaning station

this is what we saw from our campsite

We climbed Big Horn Mountain to the summit of 9500 feet.  Some of the grades had to be 12-15% and the old truck had to work pretty hard.  We stopped at the top for a piece of pie at Bear Lodge Resort.  They told us that the road we came in on is closed in the winter and I can see why.
these views were amazing

As we were making our way down the mountain Richard was stung by a bee.  Scare the crap out of me and it probably hurt him just a bit..

Stopped in Sheridan for a bite to eat before carrying on to Moorcroft to visit their Texas Trail museum.

From there we travelled to Devils Tower National Monument and checked in at the KOA for $46 (electricity and water).  We got the last spot for a unit of our size but their internet is down so we came across the road to the Trading Post to finish up this blog.
